Gabriel my son was not happy with my performance for WHD 2005 and he reprimanded me, “Now Mama, do you know what is your problem?” I replied, “No, I do not know what is my problem? He answered, “You are constantly in denial. You are running away from your responsibility. World Harmony Day is not for your daughter to built or for Lai Hock or for this young girl Pebbles? WHD is your responsibility and until that man with the power and money comes forward to carry this baby, you better put your act together and do what is right for WHD 2005.”

Now here is the interesting and surprising part, “If there is no Lee Kuan Yew do you think there is a Singapore and do you think you can work towards world harmony?” Can you bit it, in the first place what WHD got to do with LKY? But after getting over this shock I understood what he had said. I felt embarrassed and ashamed because I was about to give up all what I believe in all my life. Hence I took immediate action and written the press release for WHD 2005.
