My daughter Greta Georges and I Sunflower Chong are the founders of World Harmony Day.

After the devastation of the September 11 World Trade Center incident in New York, America that shook the world and left it in fear and terror grappling helplessly for some semblance of security and safety, we were compelled to act by our conscious to claim back our One World and thus on 20 Feburary (02) 2002 WHD was born.

World Harmony Day is a unique day to celebrate all humanity. Our objective on 20th Feb WHD is to remind people from all over the world not to take peace and harmony for granted. If peace and harmony are what we wanted we need to inculcate future generation to share this One World and to value human lives. As Mr Kofi Annan said, "To save one live is to save humanity."
