The website World harmony Day has been launched. We apologise for the delay of the website. We took into consideration the recent plans for a certain important event-taking place. Launching the website in tangent with the event will be symbolically significant.

Pope John Paul II called on leaders of the world's religions to meet on 24th Jan in Assisi, Italy to "pray for peace and to work to overcome armed conflict" at what he said was "an historic moment for humanity". This has greatly encouraged our local religious leaders to call their own meeting on 23rd of Jan. This is a positive sign that many groups and concerned individuals are taking a proactive stand in humankind.

For peace to triumph, it is important to come together as one. When we learn to live with our differences, we learn to live with tolerance. Toleration is not very great. However, it will lift the curtain on all issues that cannot be resolved as we start to have the desire to study, understand, appreciate and finally valuing diversity. When everyone embarks on that first step of tolerance, then at least there will not be any bloodshed or unnecessary deaths caused by intolerance. The universal approach of non-violence by individuals and nation states alike could only spell salvation. All 8 human race are created equal and we are unlike each other for the same reasons that all the colors of the rainbows are different.

We sincerely hope that all of you can help us to coordinate with your member states to take the lead in working towards making 200220022002 a reality. If your member states decide to hold a gathering, we have also prepared an "Invitation Card" on your behalf to help direct the traffic flow to the respective venue. Just email us the venue selected in each of the country and we will make the necessary arrangement on the website.

My greatest wish is to start a "Peace Chain" on 200220022002 to tie in with the promotion of the Unity Chain by UNICEF. With your commitment to this unique mission I am sure we will achieve it together.
