Congratulations on becoming the New York's Mayor-Elect.

I thought that this proposal; calling for World Harmony Day would be of interest to you. It has become a cliche to say that since Sept 11th, the world has changed. However, you have the power to create even greater, positive change to help build a brighter future not only for all New Yorkers but the world at large.

"We all die but few of us really live."

This line has been attributed to a Scots national hero and you too could be one of the "few" who does make a difference if we can manage to make this work. It will be a great challenge for all of us to make 200220022002 a reality. All it needs is your belief that it CAN actually happen and the weight of your offices to spread the word.

After the 2 minutes silence on 20th Feb (02) 2002 at 20:02, the developed world will come to the realization that what the developing world really needs is assistance in education to build understanding and awareness.

The world is focused on Afghanistan right now and the mood is one of seeking justice and aid. If the partnership between Bloomberg and U2 can materialize in support of 200220022002, 2 main objectives can be realized: Firstly the whole world's spirit will be up-lifted, and secondly: The Afghan people will be truly on the road to recovery.

You are the right person in the right place and at the right time to lift this mission. With the recent events in New York, as the Mayor of New York in 2002, Bloomberg can be the official media to change the world for the better and the power is in your hands sir to make it happen. To synchronize with 2002, U2, your good self and your media company will be perfect partners, because U2 will be ready to launch their new album, why not on 200220022002?

The only reason that we have gone so far is because of the good spirits that are flowing with us. The world's spirits will surely flow as you take your place as the Mayor of New York.
